Seni-Jefe (called "Pelayo"), stunning blackbay stallion,
is the son of the most sought-after P.R.E. dressage stallion worldwide
- the famous ERMITAÑO III, ESCALERA branded. ERMITAÑO III - co-owned by the prestigious MARIA FERNANDA DE LA ESCALERA stud farm is one of the first, and many believe the best, P.R.E. dressage stallions produced to date (see: http://www.yeguadalosamadores.com/index.php?seccion=16&idioma=en&id=54). Extremely functional, this trait is transmitted to his offspring. He has been awarded in January 2012 the genetic category of IMPROVER BREEDING STOCK and is considered ELITE BREEDING STOCK. This is the first time this category has ever been granted in Spain. It will allow ERMITAÑO III to be used for artificial reproduction. With an exceptional temperament and extraordinary ability for both collection and extension, Pelayos gaits are excellent. His walk is exceptional, his trot is swinging and he has lots of ability for lateral work. His canter is large, high and forward going. He has plenty of presence and lots of ability in his discipline. Bay P.R.E.'s are highly sought after but it's difficult to find one with the temperament and ability of this one. Pelayo has been competing in FN dressage competition up to level L and is now being prepared for level M. This is exceptional - he's one of the only P.R.E.s competing successfully at that level in Bavaria. He is good to handle in every way, hacks out, likes jumping a lot, goes on the grass field, is easy to ride with mares and has never been spooky. Pelayo is registered and approved for breeding. He's owned by Annette Scheck and is located at the training yard "Gerblhof". Together with her husband Stefan Annette is preparing Pelayo for the next dressage level.
